The Gravel Garden – @ The Paddock

The Gravel Garden.

This space is a newer area, where once was a trampoline, there now grow drifts of annual flowers, surrounded by mounds of soil planted with Mediterranean-style flowers and exotic foliage plants.

The aim is for a colourful and intriguing low maintenance area; weed control membrane is used and covered with decorative gravel.

There are two distinct styles either side of the central area, one side is more drier climate vegetation while the other has more lush foliage taking advantage of the sheltered environment from the hedges that form the border with neighbouring properties..
